RGBW COB LED strip with 140 COB LEDs/m. The LEDs are coated with a milky silicone. Even in smaller aluminum profiles such as PL2 or the W12 corner profile, a continuous, bright, uniform light strip is created.

Unlike with pure white, CCTorRGB COB LED stripsWith RGBW COB, the LEDs are not positioned so close together that they can be used in very flat aluminum profiles such asPL1orPL8Homogeneous lines of light can be created. Disadvantages of RGBW COB
We have decided to remove RGBW COB from our regular product range and will only supply it on request. The advantages of RGBW COB over our new, significantly cheaper SMD RGBW LED StripLK04-6r are minimal. Compare: RGBW-COB with 140 LEDs/m. LK004-6r with 120 LEDs/m. This difference is irrelevant in almost all applications and justifies the additional cost.

Disadvantages of RGBW COB compared to the new SMD RGBW strip LK04-6r are:

lower performance and brightness (LK04-6r twice as bright)
only divisible every 10 cm (LK04-6r every 5 cm)
difficult to impossible to assemble, as the solder pads are extremely close together (easier with LK04-6r)
Significant drop in brightness over the length due to the typically unfavorable COB design with too many LEDs per segment (LK04-6r has fewer LEDs per segment and therefore less drop in brightness).

We personally therefore no longer see any relevant reason for RGBW COB LED strips, but would like to continue offering them at least on request.

Available variants

5m roll IP20 without water protection, incl. 10cm connection cable

All variants have 3M adhesive tape on the back for mounting and are divisible every 10 cm.

Notes on accessories:

A 24V power supply with 90 watts is recommended for operating 5m LED strip panels.

For brightness and color control, we recommend an RGB(W) controller with at least 4 channels, such as our LK55. 4 channels is recommended, such as our LK55.

It is best to use the LED strip with a suitable aluminum profile or another cooling solution. Due to their high power, the LEDs would very quickly lose brightness and service life without an aluminum profile. We recommend aluminum profiles with covers to protect the LEDs, such as our PL2.

Control via app with the WLAN variant of the LK55 | 4 x 6A

The combined radio/WiFi driver is a classic LK55 with built-in WLAN receiver and sets standards in this field. It can be operated with a radio remote control (LK55 series) or also via smartphone with iOS or Android. Corresponding apps are available: EasyLighting App for Android / für IOS RealColor App for Android / für IOS In the standard version, the receiver has its own integrated access point for WLAN control. However, the receiver can also be set as a WLAN client via an integrated configuration page. This connects the receiver to an existing WLAN at home and provides its services without changing the network. If several cell phones or tablets are used, a simple share function can be used to transfer the learned drivers from one app to another. This means that it is not necessary to retrain the drivers, even if the cell phone is changed, for example. The driver can additionally be operated with remote controls. The hand- and wall controls of the LK55 series are suitable for this purpose. Notes: All drivers of our LK35/55 series remember the last setting even in case of power loss. If you want to operate several light zones independently of each other, several drivers are always necessary. drivers with several outputs (like here 4 x 6A) are not suitable to operate several zones, because the outputs can only be controlled together (parallel).
