Power supplies for the power supply of your LED installation. Select the power supply in terms of voltage and power suitable for the LED strips or LED modules used.

The right power supply for my LED installation

 Always choose the right power supply for your LED installation. For example, it does not make sense to use a 12V power supply for a 24V LED installation in order to create a kind of dim effect. LED components do not react linearly here, like incandescent lamps, but either switch off completely or show a strongly logarithmic behavior.

If you are still unsure which voltage you should basically choose for your LED installation, e.g. 12V or 24V LED strips, it is better to choose the higher value, i.e. 24V. A higher operating voltage means lower operating currents and therefore easier wiring. 

In the subcategories we have described the different power supply types in more detail. For many applications we recommend the high quality HLG power supplies from the manufacturer MEANWELL. For certain installations, however, other power supply types may also be suitable.
