WordClock micro 30 kit/module white
The kit of the WordClock micro comes from the OpenHardware project (see below). The kit was developed for an easier start with not so deep knowledge of electronics. The board is already equipped with the SMD components and the microcontroller is programmed. So there is no need for special tools.
Besides the display and the assembled board, no other components are supplied. For the assembly a 5V power supply and a backup battery is needed to not have to set the clock when connecting the voltage. Furthermore the installation in a case is recommended. Some variants can be seen in the blog.
You can also find complete instructions on how to set up and operate it in the blog article.
Scope of delivery:
- Board WordClock micro 30mm display equipped
- simple foil made with laser printer, if no template is ordered
Notice:
Due to the minimization of the project's components, there may be differences in the brightness of the LED matrix.
The author of the project is Daniel Rojas. More information about the project can be found in the Github Repo as well as the presentation on Hackaday.
