1-10V LED DRIVER
1-10V is a very simple system for remote control of lighting. The LED drivers can be connected to a standard 1-10V driver and controlled with it.
1-10V drivers are available e.g. from all known switch manufacturers (JUNG, GIRA, MERTEN, BUSCH JÄGER etc.) as a built-in module for the flush-mounted box. These modules only need to be connected to the driver via a 2-wire cable and the light can be controlled directly on the wall. As an example, a 1-10V driver for the flush-mounted box from GIRA, model 0309 00:
The 1-10V control voltage is supplied by the driver. I.e. the 1-10V driver does not have to be connected to the mains here.
However, many drivers for the flush-mounted box can also switch 230V at the same time. This is usually done by pressing on the driver. Here, for example, the LED power supply can be switched via 230V and simultaneously dimmed via 1-10V on the LED driver with one and the same driver.

Note: 0-10V control (e.g. via SPI)
Especially in the industry there is also the alternative 0-10V control. In contrast to the classic 1-10V control, here the control voltage is not generated at the driver, but at the central control (via SPI). Our 1-10V drivers can work with both systems and are therefore also suitable for an SPI. But it is important that the SPI supplies 1 Volt as minimum voltage. Everything below 1 volt the driver interprets as if no voltage is present and then switches to the 1-10V mode where it generates the 10V control voltage itself. I.e. via SPI must always be operated between 1 and 10 volts, never below.
